At Annapolis Analytics, we leverage emerging academic research, professional networks, and decades of experience to help our clients address their challenges. 

 Catherine Barrett founded Annapolis Analytics to provide clients with research, analysis, and counsel on how to address issues arising from the intersection of law, policy, and technology. There is an emphasis on practical solutions grounded in meticulousness, defensible research. Prior to starting Annapolis Analytics in 2022, she served for a decade as a Cyber Policy Principal at the MITRE Corp. She joined her ABA colleagues in 2020 and 2021 as a speaker at the RSA Conferences in San Francisco, CA, and held leadership positions within the ABA Science and Technology and Healthcare Committees.

Before joining MITRE, she worked as a consultant for Booz and Company in Sydney, Australia, and was a former lobbyist and US Senate staffer. Professional memberships include the ABA, ISC2, and the IAPP. She earned her JD/MBA from American University Washington College of Law and a Master of Science in information and communications technology from the University of Denver.
